The hardware cores here recreate original arcade boards in an FPGA. No software emulation is used, and this approach offers unparalleled authenticity.
The majority of the designs are ported to the Replay board. Simply plug in the JAMMA connector expansion board, and you have a drop-in arcade board replacement.
Other expansion boards are planned, such as support for vector output.
Note, many of the game platforms support multiple games. For example Pengo runs on Pacman hardware. See individual pages for details.
