Has anyone checked out the open source MEGA65 project?

The dev kits are no longer available but you can get it running on the Nexys 4 board which is currently on clearance for $213 USD.

The custom boards do have an Artix-7 200T as apposed to a 100T but it does currently fit on the Nexys 4.

yes I've been following it for a while, looks cool.
It's not clear to me if they encourage other platforms to run their core? It will certainly run on Replay2.

Paul was the one who recommended the discounted Nexys 4 on their official Facebook page so I think it's safe to say they do encourage other platforms. It would be great to have it working on the Replay2.

I noticed you're the author of the m6522.vhdl file used in the MEGA65 project so you're technically already part of it!
